PPR Coupling f/f

The THERMALINO PPR coupling f/f is a straight PP-R socket, female at both ends, that joins two PP-R pipes of the same diameter by socket fusion into one continuous, leak-tight line. It is made to EN ISO 15874-3, rated PN25, and available from Ø20 to Ø110 in white, grey and green.

The PPR coupling f/f from the THERMALINO Eternal line is a straight connector with a fusion socket at each end. It joins two PP-R pipes of the same outside diameter end to end. You can use it to extend a run or to close a repair. Once welded, it becomes part of the pipe wall, with no separate seal. The fitting is made of PP-R (polypropylene random copolymer, type 3) from prime-grade raw material supplied by leading polymer producers. It conforms to EN ISO 15874-3, the fittings part of the standard for polypropylene hot and cold water installations, and is rated PN25. The operating temperature is 70 °C, with a maximum of 95 °C. Permissible pressures at each temperature and the service life values are in the technical data sheet. The material is matched to THERMALINO PPR pipe, so socket and pipe fuse into a homogeneous joint designed for a long service life. It is used for drinking water and hot water distribution and for heating and cooling circuits in houses, apartment blocks and commercial buildings, as well as in industrial water lines. Sizes run from Ø20 to Ø110, so the same PPR socket covers small branch lines and large risers. It comes in white, grey and green. The coupling is installed by socket fusion. The pipe end is cut square and cleaned. The pipe and the coupling socket are then heated at the same time on a fusion tool fitted with heating bushes of the matching diameter. The two parts are pushed together without twisting and held until the joint sets. Heating, joining and cooling times follow the fusion table for each diameter. Because the joint uses no threads, sealants or O-rings, it is suitable for concealed pipework.
